I’m Gail, sister of Sian. I’m a freelance writer, vintage fan, and mum of two! 

I run the monthly vintage and craft market in Altrincham. The market began in May 2011 with a mere 17 stalls. Since then it’s gone from strength to strength and has even won support from Queen of Shops, Mary Portas! We now have 60 stall holders and a long waiting list.

The market runs from 11am - 3.30pm in the town’s historic covered market on Greenwood Street - alongside the producers’ market - and sees traders selling vintage clothing, textiles, homewares, upcycled items and locally-produced crafts with a vintage or retro flavour.
